Project Manager – Electrical Contracting

Location: Quakertown, PA  
Type: Full-Time | Direct Hire
Salary Range: Based on Experience

Position Overview

We’re seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Project Manager with experience in electrical construction to oversee and lead a variety of commercial and residential projects. You’ll be responsible for managing jobs from initial kickoff through final completion—ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, and on budget. This is a hands-on role that involves client interaction, team leadership, coordination with vendors and subcontractors, and regular site involvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, and manage electrical construction projects from pre-construction to close-out

  • Coordinate schedules, subcontractors, materials, and project timelines

  • Oversee and lead internal crews and ensure compliance with safety standards and code requirements

  • Communicate regularly with clients, vendors, inspectors, and team members to ensure project alignment

  • Monitor job site progress and quality; proactively resolve issues as they arise

  • Track project budgets, document changes, and manage change orders

  • Work closely with estimators and engineers to understand project scope and ensure constructability

  • Conduct project meetings and maintain accurate project documentation

  • Ensure client satisfaction and build lasting relationships that promote repeat business

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in project management for an electrical contractor

  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, installation processes, and industry best practices

  • Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specs

  • Effective communicator with a collaborative leadership style

  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and timelines

  • Experience with construction management software, Microsoft Office Suite

  • Familiarity with NEC, OSHA safety requirements, and local building codes

  • Valid driver’s license; ability to travel to job sites as needed

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or related field preferred (not required)
