Meter Reader
Hobbs, New Mexico 88240

System One is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Meter Reader to join our team for a 12-month contract. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring accurate utility readings and maintaining high standards of customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct accurate and timely manual readings of gas and electric meters.
• Record meter index data into computerized handheld systems with precision.
• Identify and report hazardous conditions, meter tampering, and any irregularities in meter conditions.
• Complete assignments efficiently and within designated timeframes to ensure data integrity.
• Assist in maintaining customer satisfaction through effective communication and service.
• Adhere to all safety policies and practices, actively participating in safety meetings and training sessions.

Qualifications:

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and report findings.
• High School Diploma/GED Required
• Commitment to safety and adherence to established protocols.

Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check and drug screening.

Pay Rate: $18.25
Contract Duration: 12 Months
