What you’ll be doing...

As a Verizon Sales Operations Opportunity Manager, you have a pivotal role in orchestrating the process of developing proposals for Verizon Consulting Services Solutions. You will work closely with sales, solution architects, legal, and delivery teams to provide pre-sales support on Consulting Services proposals. This will include:

• Act as point of entry to the Professional Services organization for all Collaboration and Customer Experience opportunities from all of the domestic and global sales organizations. Role consists of interfacing with multiple organizational leads, verifying requirements and assigning appropriate resources to complete the Statement of Work and Level of Effort. 

• Working with Sales teams to help qualify deals and gather requirements from customers

• Working with Delivery teams to develop levels of effort

• Configuring quotes in the quoting tools

• Developing statements of work based on requirements provided by the solutions teams

• Working with Legal, Sourcing, and Sales to update and finalize Statements of Work for presentation back to the customer.

• Coordinating and managing solutions activities for complex deals that involve multiple Consulting Services Practices.

What we’re looking for...

You’ll need to have:

• Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.

• Four or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through work experience and/or military experience.

• Experience supporting consulting engagements which may include estimating, scoping, and writing effective statements of work that clearly set expectations and limit risk.

• Experience in some or all of LAN/WAN/Wireless Networking, Collaboration Solutions, Contact Center,  and Cyber Security technologies . 

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Experience leading projects through the entire project lifecycle.

• Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Even better if you have:

• Bachelor’s degree or MBA in an IT field.

• Experience in consulting/professional services, with client contact at senior levels and demonstrated business development skills.

• Experience in designing and deploying Enterprise Solutions in a technical consulting environment.

• Technical expertise with network technologies - Wi-Fi wireless LAN, Wide Area Network, cellular 4G/5G, routing, SDN, SD-WAN, data center networks., Contact Center/Customer Experience, Collaboration, and Cybersecurity.

• Ability to prioritize customer technical requirements both tactically and strategically.

• Ability to assess client issues and prioritize actions to address them accordingly.

• Experience in working with cross-functional teams to address technical issues within the solutions.

• Ability to foster strong working relationships between project teams, clients, managers, partners and vendors.

• Ability to host and facilitate meetings attended by client executives, stakeholders and Verizon executives.

• Knowledge of both new business development and consulting methodology.

• Experience in implementing large-scale IT projects.

• Technical experience in understanding and solving complex network and application layer challenges, both from a design and problem management perspective.

• Ability to work well with others and champion/ influence change.

• Superior Written and Verbal Communication Skills.

Where you’ll be working

In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and a minimum eight assigned office days per month that will be set by your manager.

The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is an incentive based position with the potential to earn more. For part-time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.

The annual salary range for the location(s) listed on this job requisition based on a full-time schedule is: $78,000.00 - $136,000.00.
