Job Description

Position Title :

Shipper/Loader

 

Pay Rate :

$22.25/hr

 

Sign on Bonus :

$500 after 30 days,

$500 after 6 months,

 

Retention Bonus :

$500 after 1 year

Additional lump sum after 2 years

 

Category/Shift :

Hourly Full-Time 2nd Shift

 

The Job You Will Perform:

Responsibilities will include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Must be a qualified forklift driver
  • Load and unload trailers efficiently and store in designated areas of warehouse.
  • Ability to move trailers in and out of dock doors safely.
  • Ability to safely and efficiently stack and unstack product at multiple heights.
  • Ability to use WITRON VMU for scanning.
  • Ability to learn office responsibilities.
  • Record number and type of defects for quality control purposes.
  • Count units, kits, etc. and compute total number of same.
  • Break down units, restack accurately and re-band correctly as needed.
  • Perform daily housekeeping tasks to ensure AIB standards are met.
  • Perform daily safety checks on forklifts.

 

Must be self-motivated and work independently with minimum supervision

  • Counting and stacking finished product
  • Must be able to read a tape measure
  • Dependable
  • Forklift experience required
  • Yard Switcher experience required
