About the Role:
Aquila is seeking a Software Developer to join our team in supporting one of the country’s premier defense research organizations. The Software Developer will be responsible for developing within a modern, object-oriented, modular open-systems architecture primarily utilizing C++, Linux, and publish-subscribe middleware. Challenging development activities will directly contribute to the prototyping of advanced Electro-Optical/Infrared control systems critical to the nation’s Air and Missile Defense Systems and may involve field testing of said systems.

Education/Experience: MS or BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent plus 5 years minimum experience.

Location: Hybrid - Individual works from home or off-site for a portion of their schedule and within a routinely commutable distance from the Lexington facility. Candidates MUST be local to Lexington to come onsite as needed
