Job Title: Software Developer – Expert
HBITS Task Order: HBITS-06-14133
Agency: New York State Insurance Fund (NYSIF)
Location: Albany, NY (Hybrid – 50% Onsite Required)
Rate: Depends on experience

Position Overview:
Project is part of the New York HBITS initiative supporting the daily production, integration, and modernization of Medpay and Claims systems. Must have strong experience with Oracle PL/SQL, .NET Core, and Azure DevOps tools.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and tune Oracle PL/SQL procedures and triggers
• Modify ASP.Net/.Net Core apps and UI integration
• Execute unit testing and resolve production issues
• Contribute to re-engineering efforts using modern frameworks
• Apply RESTful APIs, JavaScript, and MVC for modernization
• Maintain compliance with SDLC and architecture standards

Qualifications:

• 2 years of experience in Oracle PL/SQL development including triggers, packages, and SQL tuning
• 2 years of experience with Microsoft C#.Net and OOP for batch/web applications
• 5 years of experience using Azure DevOps
• 5 years of experience in JavaScript, JQuery, CSS, Ajax, Bootstrap, and HTML
• 7 years of experience using GIT and TFS source control
• 4 years of experience with Agile/Scrum methodology
• 7 years of experience developing web-based systems in ASP.NET, C#, .Net Core, and MVC
• 5 years of experience with RESTful APIs
